Inselhopping im Ionischen Meer.

Ab 01. Mai 2018 hat eine neue Schiffslinie den Betrieb aufgenommen, welche die Ionische Inselgruppe zwischen Korfu und Zakynthos untereinander verbindet. Die Gesellschaft Ilida Paxos Hydrofoil stellt das Passagierschiff “HIGH SPEED AZIMUT JOY CRUISES” zur Verfügung, auf dem 260 Personen Platz haben (keine Fahrzeuge). Damit wird es nun möglich sein,  ohne Stopp auf dem Festland zwischen den Inseln hin- und her zu reisen. Eine positive touristische Entwicklung für die weniger bekannten Destinationen wie Kafalonia, Lafkada und Ithaki ist zu erwarten.
Von Korfu aus geht die Fähre über Paxos, Lefkadas, Ithaka und Kefallonia nach Zakinthos jeweils montags, mittwochs und freitags . Der Rückweg ist jeweils erst am Folgetag. Für aktuelle Informationen (Fahrplan) siehe in Facebook unter Ilidia Paxos Hydrofoil

Island hopping in the Ionian Sea

As of May 01, 2018, a new shipping line has been opened, linking the Ionian archipelago between Corfu and Zakynthos. The company Ilida Paxos Hydrofoil provides the passenger ship "HIGH SPEED AZIMUT JOY CRUISES", which seats 260 people (no vehicles). It will now be possible to travel between the islands without stopping on the mainland. A positive tourist development for the lesser-known destinations such as Kafalonia, Lafkada and Ithaki is to be expected.

From Corfu the ferry goes via Paxos, Lefkadas, Ithaka and Kefallonia to Zakinthos on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The way back is only on the following day. For current information (timetable) see in Facebook under Ilidia Paxos Hydrofoil
